    and
    widely distributed
    .
    Touraine
is one of the traditional provinces of France,  Its capital was
    Tours City
.  During the political reorganization of
French territory in 1790, Touraine province was divided into four departments.  Tours City is the largest city in the
Centre-Val de Loire region of France.
    Saint Martin's monastery in Tours
City benefited from patronage and support
    from the Frankish
    King Clovis
.  In 845, Tours repelled the first attack of the Viking.  In 850, the Vikings went up the Loire
again in 852 and sacked Angers,
Tours and the abbey of Marmoutier
    .
In the west, the "new city" structured around the Abbey of
Saint Martin was freed from the control of the City during 10th century
    and became "
    Chateauneuf
".  Tours City became the capital
of the county of Tours or Touraine, the latter were
    victorious in the
    11th century
    .
The Abbey of Marmoutier was a monastery just
    outside today's Tours City
.  The Abbey at Tours was one of the most prominent
and influential establishments in medieval France.  In later times the abbey was
    destroyed by fire
    on several occasions and
    ransacked by Norman Vikings
in 853 and in 903.  It burned again in 994.  During the French Wars of Religion, the basilica was
    sacked by the Protestant
    Huguenots in 1562
.  It was disestablished during the
    French Revolution
    .
After the radical Paris Commune of 1871, the church decides to
build a basilica to St. Martin
.  The new Basilique of St. Martin
    consecrated in 1925
.  The new Basilique is located at (
    47.3930, 0.6830
).  I will attach three photos of it from google systems.
